At the same time, the targeted solutions produced by Manifold in the competition were highly recognized by the Science and Technology Bureau of the Singapore Home Team. Manifold can use its hardware products to go deep into the scene and quickly, efficiently, and accurately reconstruct fire scenes, helping the Singapore Civil Defence Force to precisely deploy rescue plans, using the power of technology to ensure public safety and promote the positive application of technology.

Recently, Manifold Tech, the only company recommended by the Hong Kong Science Park, won the global championship of the 4th Dimension X Global Innovation Challenge. Manifold stood out among numerous participants with its outstanding innovative technology and solutions. Its solution for reconstructing fire scenes and deploying rescue plans was highly recognized by experts from HTX (Science and Technology Bureau of the Singapore Home Team), Microsoft, SOSA, Knovel Engineering, and other organizations, excelling in public safety needs, technical capabilities, solution quality, and innovation.
Manifold Tech's team originates from the Mechanical and Robotics Systems Laboratory (MaRS LAB) at the University of Hong Kong, specializing in LiDAR 3D reconstruction technology and committed to bringing revolutionary products to the 3D reconstruction industry.
In the solution for the Singapore Civil Defence Force, Manifold used its high-temperature-resistant,advanced LiDAR multi-sensor-equipped, and multi-functional payload devices compatible with UAVs/robots for autonomous inspection to explore fire scenes, quickly and accurately capturing 3D information. Through high-precision algorithms, it efficiently and accurately reconstructed fire scenes. This technology and solution have also been applied to public safety work in mainland China, with service coverage extending to counties and a market penetration rate of over 50%. The technology's leading edge and application capabilities have been tested in practice, which is why Manifold was the only company recommended by the Hong Kong Science Park to participate in the Dimension X - Frontline Emergency & Rescue track.
After an initial screening of numerous applications, Dimension X selected 11 companies from 5 global regions to participate in the Frontline Emergency & Rescue track. These companies submitted customized solutions to meet the urgent rescue application needs of the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force focused on the fire resistance of products and the degree of AI-based fire source detection and cause analysis. Manifold developed a targeted POC solution, using its hardware to go deep into fire scenes and efficiently and accurately reconstruct them, helping the Singapore Civil Defence Force to precisely deploy rescue plans and successfully complete firefighting tasks.
After four rounds of competition and one-on-many technical challenges, Manifold Tech emerged as the global champion of the Dimension X Frontline Emergency & Rescue track due to its equipment's fire resistance, algorithm accuracy, efficiency, and ability to accurately and quickly identify 3D point sources.
As the global champion, Manifold Tech will receive non-equity funding for product development and market promotion. Additionally, it will have the opportunity to collaborate with end-users and HTX technology experts from the Singapore Home Team to jointly promote technological innovation in Singapore's public safety sector.

Dimension X—an open innovation challenge—is a public safety and security innovation center jointly organized by HTX (Science and Technology Bureau of the Singapore Home Team) and SOSA, among others. It aims to collaborate with end-users and technical personnel to develop and validate technologies that can be used for Singapore's homeland security and challenges. Participating companies in Dimension X will undergo comprehensive assessments by experts from HTX, SOSA, Knovel Engineering, and Microsoft in areas such as public security needs, technical capabilities, solutions, and innovation capabilities. This evaluates the practicality of startups in public safety and security technology, their user-centered design philosophy, and their innovation capabilities.

So far, Dimension X has held four editions, issued 40 challenge statements, received over 530 applications globally, and selected 32 startups. The fields involved include Robotics & Drones, Crime Scene Forensics, Frontline Emergency & Rescue, Environmental Monitoring & Sensemaking, AI and Machine Learning, etc.
